Pro-line modular cages: Our modular cages come as a kit you assemble from pre made panels, all cages are fully assembled, fitted precisely, and then break down to ship flat. Our cages take very few screws to assemble compared to other modular type cages. This is done through our interlocking sliding dovetail joinery. This makes it easy to assemble by yourself, and is stronger.
The material used on Pro-line modular cages is 3/8ths thick marine grade HDPE ( high density polyethylene). It is designed for use in a harsh marine environments on ships. It is UV resistant, both USDA and FDA approved, meaning it is safe enough to eat off of. To top it off it is made of recycled plastic and is 35% lighter than standard HDPE plastic of the same thickness. The cage body can take blows from a hammer and will not break it is very impact resistant. Other brand cages made of expanded PVC the hammer would go right through. Keep this in mind when compaing cages, it's an apples to oranges compaison due to the different materials.
This plastic is ultimately chemical resistant meaning nothing sticks to it.. This makes these cages easier to clean.
All cages have slotted vents on the back wall for proper airflow. Vent slots can be used to fish a cord through.
HDPE plastic is easily drillable with standard wood bits if you want to add your own custom holes for cords and such. It will not crack peel or split. All cages with the same foot print are stackable. You can stack cages wit hthe same foot print but different heights in the same stack.
All cages are made of premium grade recycled plastic made in the USA!
Attention: All instructions are on the "How to build pages" of the website there are no paper copies sent with the cages.
